Heading
west on the M8 motorway towards Glasgow. Travel through the city and over
the Kingston Bridge taking the slip road to the M77 (junction 22) signposted
'Prestwick, Ayr, Kilmarnock'.
Stay on this road passing the road end to East Kilbride (B764) and then
Galston (A719). The road will turn into a dual carriageway at the second
Fenwick turn off, with the Fenwick Hotel on your left hand side and a
petrol station on your right. Turn right at the petrol station onto the
B751 to Kilmaurs.
Approximately 1.5 miles down the road, you will come to a sharp right
bend. Rowallan Castle Gates are on your right hand side and we are 50
yards past this on your left.
